Funding Restored: Issue of HayPost Revealed

The funding has been restored by the Unified Social Service of the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs of the Republic of Armenia. Recipients of pensions and care benefits for children under 2 years old will begin receiving their payments in cash starting at 15:00 today, reported Gevorg Abrahamyan, the spokesperson for HayPost LLC, to Aysor.am.

“Payments are being made at all postal offices, and there are no further issues. It just happened that yesterday the funds had not been fully provided to us from the social services,” he stated.

Recall that yesterday HayPost issued an official statement announcing that from September 9 at 16:00, it would temporarily cease cash payments of pensions and child care benefits for those with children under 2 years old due to insufficient funds received from the Unified Social Service of the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs of the Republic of Armenia.
