ZIL Truck Loaded with Sheep Rolls Over, Resulting in 2 Fatalities

On September 9, a tragic incident occurred in the Aragatsotn region. At around 14:10, the Ministry of Emergency Situations received a report that a ZIL brand truck, located approximately 2.5-3 kilometers from the village of Aragats on a mountainous road, had rolled over several times and flipped onto its roof. There are suspicions that there are civilians trapped under the vehicle.

Rescue teams, along with doctors, traffic police, and citizens, arrived on the scene and worked painstakingly to overturn the vehicle, managing to extract two bodies from within. The deceased were transported by ambulance to the Artashat Medical Center. The police are working to establish the identity of the driver and the deceased.

According to Shamshyan.com, the truck was loaded with sheep, some of which did not survive the accident.
