Car Crashes into House Wall, Resulting in Fatality; Forensic Examination Authorized

On September 10, around 07:40, a 25-year-old resident of Zolakar village lost control of his "OPEL" vehicle in Gegharkunik Province, veering off the road and crashing into the wall of a private house, causing the vehicle to overturn. As a result of the accident, the driver’s mother has died.

Previously, it was reported that the deceased was the driver's mother. The Investigative Committee has stated that a criminal case has been opened in the Martuni investigative division of the Gegharkunik regional investigative department under part 2 of Article 242 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Armenia.

According to the IC's announcement, a forensic examination and post-mortem examination of the body have been ordered. An investigation is underway.
