VIDEO: Give Back My Lost Years – Kashatagh Residents Protest in Front of Government

As reported earlier, displaced residents of Hadrut are holding a protest near the Government building. They demand that they be provided with housing.

“We have discussed the issues with the head of the complaint acceptance department; people are saying, ‘we don’t know what answer to give you,’ meaning our situation remains uncertain,” said a man from Hadrut as he left the Government building, addressing reporters and participants of the protest.

“I have presented what is happening in Artsakh, what Araik Harutyunyan is doing, mentioning that 27-32 million drams are allocated for building private houses, while there are 21,000 people from Artsakh here left in neglect. I have requested a meeting with Mher Grigoryan, who, for some reason, is not available,” the man added.

“Although I was told not to speak publicly, I will disclose today that over 2,500 Hadrut residents have already left Armenia... we also want to stay in our country,” he stated.
