Russian President Vladimir Putin attended the farewell ceremony for the late Minister of Emergency Situations Evgeny Zinichev, held in Moscow at the National Center for Crisis Management of the Ministry. Putin laid a bouquet on the pedestal where the minister's state awards were displayed.

Following this, he approached the coffin, crossed himself, and bowed before the minister's body. Putin then went to the minister's relatives and sat with them for several minutes. After shaking hands with the minister’s son and exchanging a few words with his widow, he returned to the coffin, bowed again, and exited the mourning hall. The president appeared emotional.

It is known that Zinichev will be buried today in St. Petersburg. According to Russian presidential spokesperson Dmitry Peskov, Putin does not plan to attend the burial ceremony.
