Defense Minister Meets with Parents of Missing Soldiers and Volunteers

On September 9, Armenian Defense Minister Arshak Karapetyan met with the parents and relatives of soldiers and volunteers who went missing during the 44-day war. The head of the defense department listened to their concerns and suggestions and responded to their questions, stating that search operations are ongoing, taking into account the information provided by the parents. This was reported by the Ministry of Defense.

Arshak Karapetyan assured that all efforts are being made to uncover the fate of each missing soldier. During the meeting, the minister directed Major General Arthur Simonyan, head of the relevant commission, to investigate the raised concerns and report back with details.

At the end of the meeting, Arshak Karapetyan noted that such meetings will be held regularly, assuring that the issue is under his immediate attention.
