BMW Hits Pedestrian Crossing Street at Unauthorized Location

On September 8, a traffic incident occurred in Yerevan. Around 20:30, on Komitas Avenue, in front of ‘Eastern Cuisine’, a BMW with license plate 65 XX 006 struck a middle-aged male pedestrian who was crossing the street at an unauthorized location.

According to shamshyan.com, the driver did not flee the scene; instead, he called for an ambulance and subsequently assisted the medical team that arrived promptly in transferring the injured pedestrian to ‘Armenia’ Medical Center.

At the scene, a Mercedes was also parked, whose driver, according to preliminary information, noticed the pedestrian and braked, but as the pedestrian crossed in front of him, he unexpectedly found himself in front of the BMW and was hit.

The police are investigating the identities of the drivers and the pedestrian involved in the accident.
