VIDEO: Man Denies Initial Confession of Raping and Killing 10-Year-Old Girls During Arrest
Viktor Pesternikov, who had confessed to raping and killing two ten-year-old girls, denied his initial confession during his arrest. He claimed that after buying a soft drink and sunflower seeds for the girls from a store, they each went their separate ways.
As previously reported, two ten-year-old girls left home yesterday morning, September 6, intending to go to school, but they did not return. Security cameras last captured the girls in a shop with a suspicious man who was buying sweets for the children.
The identity of the unidentified man was revealed to be 41-year-old Viktor Pesternikov, who had previously served time for 'sexual violent acts'. He was released two years ago. Pesternikov admitted to raping and killing the two ten-year-old girls. The bodies of the children have been discovered, and the arrested individual himself led authorities to the location of the murder. He is being taken in for questioning.
