VIDEO: Russia's Investigative Committee Releases Footage of Abandoned House Where 10-Year-Old Girls Were Murdered

The Russian Investigative Committee has released footage related to the arrest of Viktor Pesternikov. The footage shows an abandoned house in Kiselyovsk where two ten-year-old girls were murdered.

As previously reported, on September 6, the two girls left their home in Kiselyovsk in the morning to go to school but never returned. Security cameras last recorded the girls in a shop with a suspicious man who was buying candy for the children.

The identity of the unknown man has been revealed as 41-year-old Viktor Pesternikov, who had previously served time for "violent sexual crimes." He was released two years ago.

Pesternikov confessed to having raped and strangled the two ten-year-old girls. The bodies of the children have been discovered. The arrested individual led the authorities to the location of the murders and is currently being taken for questioning.
