Arshavir Grigoryan, the head coach of Armenia's senior youth boxing team, remarked on the athletes' performances, stating that their results were satisfactory. “The medalists are still very young and promising. I am confident that the color of their medals will change in the future. For instance, the expectations for David Simonyan are very high; I believe he will become a European champion and achieve additional successes. These games have provided significant experience for everyone. For instance, Hayk Tadevosyan, one of the medalists, is participating in such a major competition for the first time. We are grateful to the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport and the Armenian Boxing Federation for the opportunity to participate and gain experience,” he said.
From September 7, the performances of Armenian athletes will also be followed from the competition venue by the Minister of Education, Science, Culture, and Sport Vahe Dumanyan and Deputy Minister Karen Giloyan.
