VIDEO: Employers Must Require Negative PCR Test Results from October 1, Says Anahit Avanesyan
“We must ensure that citizens are not infected when they come to work and do not pose a threat to their surroundings, therefore, starting October 1, employers will be required to demand a negative PCR test result. Vaccinated individuals, those with medical contraindications, and pregnant women are exempt from this requirement,” says Armenia's Minister of Health Anahit Avanesyan.
According to her, various countries are implementing multiple tools in this regard. “If in March only 10 percent of citizens were willing to be vaccinated, today's surveys indicate that 40 percent of the population is ready to be vaccinated, which is a fairly good indicator,” the minister notes.
