Large Fire in Nor Khachakap Village Results in Death of Approximately 300 Lambs

On September 4, an emergency incident occurred in the Lori region. Around 02:20, the National Crisis Management Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations received a call reporting that animal feed was burning in a barn on 1st Street in Nor Khachakap village. Firefighters, with the assistance of villagers, managed to rescue more than 20 large cattle from the burning barn; however, due to the fire and smoke, approximately 300 lambs, including mothers, were asphyxiated and perished.
