Shots Fired at Cows in Chambarak, Followed by Slaughter

On September 3, the Chambarak police department received a report that unidentified individuals had fired shots at a citizen's cows and subsequently slaughtered the animals.

Officers from the police operational group, who arrived at the scene, took a statement from the affected citizen. It was revealed that on September 2, around 10:30 PM, a neighbor of the victim had shot two cows with a hunting rifle on one of the plots on Byron Street in Chambarak, resulting in the death of one cow and injury to the other. The citizen suffered damages estimated at approximately 600,000 Armenian drams.

A 37-year-old man was located and taken into custody by the Chambarak police. The hunting rifle registered in his name, an "IZH" smoothbore, has been confiscated. Investigations are ongoing.
