Tragic Car Accident in Yerevan: Two Mercedes Collide Head-On on Tsitsernakaberd Highway

Today, on September 2nd, a tragic car accident occurred in Yerevan. At around 00:40, two Mercedes vehicles collided head-on on the Tsitsernakaberd highway.

According to photographer Gagik Shamshyan, who reported from the scene, one person died on the spot, and another was taken to the hospital. Emergency responders from the Ministry of Emergency Situations' Fire and Rescue Service arrived quickly, specifically from the Yerevan Rescue Unit No. 7 with one firefighting team. The deceased was extracted from the vehicle using special equipment by the rescuers.
