The Authorities Gradually Undermine Mayor Hayk Marutyan's Support Base: "Hraparak"

"Hraparak" newspaper reports: "Yesterday, Arman Abrahamyan, the head of the Erebuni administrative district, submitted his resignation. He is the son of Suren Abrahamyan, a member of the Republican Party. The authorities are slowly breaking down the support structures of Mayor Hayk Marutyan, dismissing his appointed community leaders and replacing them with individuals who showed good results in the elections. In Erebuni, it is being discussed that one of the members of the CP staff, Vlad, will be appointed as the new community leader.

The issue of appointing new community leaders is being coordinated by Deputy Prime Minister Suren Papikyan, whose scope of authority is tenfold larger than that of Tigran Avinyan’s functions.
