Major Car Accident in Yerevan: Ford Transit and Opel Collide on Heratsi Street, Injuries Reported

Today, September 2, a major car accident occurred in Yerevan. According to Shamshyan.com, around 08:00, two vehicles collided in front of number 2 on Heratsi Street: a Ford Transit driven by 30-year-old Vahagn Nikoghosyan and an Opel driven by 29-year-old Andranik Zeynalanyan, both residents of Kotayk Province.

As a result of the accident, Zeynalanyan and his passenger, 33-year-old A.B. from Kotayk Province, sustained bodily injuries and were transported to the number 1 university hospital, where A.B. was later transferred to the “Erebuni” Medical Center.

Two firefighting units from the Rescue Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations arrived at the scene. Initial assistance to the injured was provided by bystanders and rescuers. Paramedics from Yerevan’s 1-03 emergency medical services administered first aid on-site before transporting the injured to the hospital.

Materials are being prepared regarding the incident.
