Emergency Incident in Yerevan: Argument at 'Apricot' Supermarket Ends in Stabbing, Injuries Reported

On September 2, an emergency incident occurred in Yerevan. Around 08:30, the New Nork Police Department received a report that there were citizens who had been stabbed at the 'Apricot' supermarket located at 10 Gayi Boulevard.

According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, police operatives and an investigator from the investigative division arrived at the scene. Officers from the criminal investigation department of the Yerevan police also attended the scene.

Two young men, reportedly with blood-like stains on them, were taken from the location to the hospital, according to witnesses gathered at the scene. Blood-like traces were found inside the store, and there was a chaotic situation, with store merchandise scattered on the ground.

According to witnesses, an argument took place between the two individuals and a store employee, which escalated into a brawl, followed by stabbings.

An investigator is preparing materials to clarify the circumstances of the incident and to determine the identities of the injured. Experts from the forensic department have also arrived at the scene.
