Azerbaijan and Turkey to Conduct Joint Military Exercises with Air Force Participation

The personnel of the Azerbaijan Air Force has arrived in the Turkish city of Konya to participate in the ‘Baze TurAz 2021’ exercises. Azerbaijani media report this, citing the country’s Ministry of Defense.

According to the annual cooperation program between Azerbaijan and Turkey, joint tactical flight exercises will be conducted in Konya with the participation of the air forces of both countries.

It has been reported that two Azerbaijani Air Force MiG-29 and Su-25 combat aircraft departed for Turkey the day before for the purpose of participating in the exercises. The exercises will last until September 17.
