3-Year-Old Child Killed in Car Accident: New Details

On August 29, at 19:19, the Tavush regional crisis management center received a call reporting a traffic accident on the 7th km of the Ijevan-Novemberyan highway, with casualties involved.

A team from the Ministry of Emergency Situations' regional rescue department was dispatched to the scene. It was determined that a collision occurred between a "Mercedes C" (driver: A. T., born in 1987) and an "Opel Zafira" (driver: Y. G., born in 1955).

Before rescuers arrived, passengers A. T. (born in 2018), S. T. (born in 2015), and N. T. (born in 1988) from the "Mercedes C" were removed from the vehicle by local individuals and taken to the Ijevan Medical Center, where A. T. was later pronounced dead.

Rescuers assisted the drivers and passenger S. Z. from the "Mercedes C" to the ambulance, and also extracted passenger A. A. (born in 1966) from the vehicle and brought him to the ambulance.

The injured individuals were hospitalized at the Ijevan Medical Center, where doctors assessed Y. G.'s health condition as severe, while the others were considered to have injuries of moderate severity.

Rescuers disconnected the vehicles from power and closed the valves on the gas cylinders.
