Mane Tandilyan's Tenure is Coming to an End

The Minister of Labor, Social and Migration Issues of the Republic of Artsakh, Mane Tandilyan, wrote on her Facebook page: "Dear Artsakh citizens, dear compatriots, time is passing, and the challenges facing Artsakh are entering a new phase. If you have been in Artsakh in recent days, you might have noticed that life has returned to its normal course in a daily sense. And this is thanks to the determination and commitment of the Artsakh people to live on their land, becoming even stronger in the face of shocking pain and a sense of debt towards the heroes who did not spare their lives for this land.

Approximately eighty percent of the population of Artsakh has returned to live there. This means that Artsakh is shedding the socio-psychological burden of the post-war period and is on the path of development and strengthening, made possible by hard work, commitment, and an unwavering will.

Now is the time to promote long-term programs and economic development. Acknowledging that the key to comprehensively overcoming social issues is a developed economy in every country, the development of the economy—alongside housing construction and ensuring citizens with homes as soon as possible—can contribute to the strengthening of Artsakh and the ability of people to live there.

Thus, I would like to inform you that according to my preliminary agreement with the President of the Republic of Artsakh, Araik Harutyunyan, my tenure as the Minister of Labor, Social and Migration Issues of the Republic of Artsakh is coming to an end. Starting September 1, I will continue my service to Artsakh within the framework of the 'Living Artsakh' foundation, through which numerous projects will be implemented in Artsakh, primarily with the direct and effective involvement of our partners, including the construction of a new settlement with 100 houses near the village of Dahrav, where our displaced compatriots from Artsakh can continue their lives.

I am confident that if everyone who speaks about Artsakh visits at least once during this time, stays here, and finds their purpose, we will create a completely different reality in a very short time. I thank my colleagues in the Government of the Republic of Artsakh and all the employees of our ministry for the opportunity to work in an atmosphere of mutual trust and to serve Artsakh, which I will continue to do in new ways, as I will always seek and find the most effective means to serve our united homeland, no matter what that may entail."
