Lavrov's Call to the U.S.

The U.S. must learn lessons from the situation created in Afghanistan. This statement was made by Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, according to RIA Novosti.

"Our Western partners always want to unite efforts and find joint responses. However, I was asked about this a few days ago; lessons need to be learned from Iraq, Libya, and now Afghanistan. The attempts to impose a foreign system of values are quite explosive," said Lavrov at a press conference.

"I have great hopes that for the third time, it will be possible to solidify this conclusion in the minds of politicians who consider their future actions in foreign territories," added Lavrov.
