I Remember When I Was 5 and Went to the Market, There Were Many Azerbaijanis Selling Fruits and Vegetables: Kheroyan

The Minister of Economics, Vahan Kheroyan, reaffirmed Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's statement from yesterday that certain sections of the Goris-Kapan road were within Azerbaijani territory according to Soviet borders.

"My personal view is that this road should be opened as soon as possible. I remember when I was 5 years old and went to the market, there were many Azerbaijanis selling fruits and vegetables," he said.

Addressing the situation regarding the delivery of food by Russian peacekeepers to the residents of Vorotan yesterday, and the question of how food security issues will be resolved, Kheroyan stated that the food security department of the ministry is working on this matter and that consultations have been held to ensure food safety for residents in those areas.

"Russian peacekeepers are delivering food, and today that is one option, but there are alternatives to resolve the issue through bypass roads," Kheroyan noted.
