Deputy Head of Prime Minister's Office Addresses Reports on Russian-Azerbaijani Checkpoints on Goris-Kapan Road

The Deputy Head of the Prime Minister's Office, Taron Chakhoyan, has taken to Facebook to address rumors regarding the establishment of Russian-Azerbaijani checkpoints along the Goris-Kapan highway. He stated, 'The news circulated by the Kapan mayor about the placement of Russian-Azerbaijani checkpoints on the Goris-Kapan highway is false and has no relation to reality. No checkpoints have been established on the Goris-Kapan road.'

He added, 'It seems that the sole purpose of some individuals has become to mislead the public and create an atmosphere of fear and panic.'
