Argishti Kyaramyan Appointed as Advisor to the Head of the Investigative Committee
The Investigative Committee of Armenia announces: “Today, the President of the Investigative Committee, Argishti Kyaramyan, held a consultation at the Main Military Investigative Department, during which he expressed gratitude to Yuri Badalyan, the former head of the Department of Military Investigations, for his long-term service in the investigative system and his selfless service to the homeland. He introduced the newly appointed head of the department, Advisor of Justice of the First Class Rafael Vardanyan, who previously held the position of head of the Forensic Division of the Main Department of Special Assignments, Organizational-Analytical, and Forensic Expertise of the Investigative Committee of Armenia.
The head of the Investigative Committee emphasized the role of the Military Investigative Department, particularly highlighting that a significant number of crimes against military service regulation that occurred during the 44-day war are being investigated in this subdivision. Argishti Kyaramyan has stressed that these cases are in the focus of public and leadership attention of the Investigative Committee, and they should be investigated promptly, objectively, and comprehensively.
Artak Krgyasharyan, the head of the Military Investigative Department, also expressed his gratitude to his colleague, Yuri Badalyan, for their joint and flawless work and wished Rafael Vardanyan a successful service. By another decree of Argishti Kyaramyan, Yuri Badalyan has been appointed as an advisor to the head of the Investigative Committee.”
