Azerbaijan Threatens to Conduct 'Counter-Terrorism Operation' If Soldier Not Returned, Says T. Abrahamyan

Member of Parliament from the 'I Have Honor' faction Tigran Abrahamyan's statement: 'The fact that an Azerbaijani soldier was found and detained in one of the private houses in the Martakert region of Artsakh has also been confirmed by Azerbaijan itself.

At the same time, Azerbaijan threatens that if the soldier is not returned in the near future, it will conduct a 'counter-terrorism operation.'

It is evident that the provocations occurring in Martakert city, the village of Mkhitarashen in Shushi, and along the Goris-Kapan interstate highway are interconnected and fit within the framework of Azerbaijan's destabilization plans.

Let me remind you that in the direction of the village of Mkhitarashen, irregular gunfire from Azerbaijan has been recorded in recent days, with damage to private property.

In short, Azerbaijan is moving according to a predictable scenario, while the Armenian authorities are occupied with personal vendettas and matters related to narrow personal interests.'
