41-Year-Old Resident of Yerevan Stabs Four People in Restaurant Back Area

On August 25, 2021, at 00:24, a citizen reported that four individuals had been stabbed in the back area of a restaurant located on Tichina Street. This was confirmed by the Investigative Committee.

During the preparation of materials, it was revealed that three men were transported to the 'Astghik' medical center from Sherami Street in Yerevan with various stab wounds to different parts of their bodies.

Following investigative and procedural actions, as well as measures conducted in collaboration with law enforcement officers of the Republic of Armenia, the identity of the alleged perpetrator was established, a 41-year-old resident of Yerevan.

A criminal case has been initiated in the investigative division of the Malatia-Sebastia administrative district of the Yerevan city investigative department under the first part of Article 112 of the RA Criminal Code.

An investigation is underway. Measures are being taken to clarify all circumstances of the incident.
