Armenian Ambassador Meets with Volodymyr Zelensky in Ukraine

On August 19, the newly appointed Armenian ambassador to Ukraine, Vladimir Karapetyan, presented his credentials to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. This information was reported by the Armenian Embassy in Ukraine.

“President Zelensky congratulated V. Karapetyan on assuming the position of Armenia’s ambassador to Ukraine, expressing confidence that he would play a significant role in further strengthening bilateral relations between Armenia and Ukraine and deepening the cooperation between the Armenian and Ukrainian peoples,” the statement read.

Ambassador Karapetyan conveyed the best wishes of Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan to the Ukrainian President and assured that he would make every effort during his tenure to enhance and solidify bilateral relations and existing cooperation.

Both sides emphasized the importance of upcoming bilateral engagements at various levels, particularly the meeting of the Armenian-Ukrainian intergovernmental commission.

President Zelensky requested to send his warm greetings to the Prime Minister of Armenia and the entire Armenian people,” the statement noted.
