Azerbaijan's Armed Forces Attempted to Breach the Contact Line in Western Artsakh, Repelled Back to Initial Positions - Defense Army

On the night of August 12, Azerbaijan's Armed Forces attempted to breach the contact line between the Artsakh and Azerbaijani opposing military forces in the western region of the Republic of Artsakh, according to reports from the Defense Army.

As a result of the Defense Army's counteracting actions, the attempt was thwarted, and the adversary was repelled back to their initial positions. No casualties have been reported on the Armenian side.

The Russian peacekeeping command operating in the Republic of Artsakh has been promptly informed about the Azerbaijani provocation.
