Armenia Stresses the Need for a Unified Market Framework for Gas, Oil, and Petroleum Products for the Development of the EAEU
Armenia considers the establishment of a regulatory framework for unified markets of gas, oil, and petroleum products essential for the development of the EAEU. This statement was made by Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan during the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council meeting in Cholpon-Ata.
“We are convinced that one of the key components for the effective development of the union is consistent and transparent work aimed at creating a regulatory base for the unified markets of gas, oil, and petroleum products. The effective use of the union’s energy potential can address many challenges, contributing to the strengthening of energy security and sustainable development of our countries’ economies,” Pashinyan noted, expressing hope for the continuation of constructive work based on mutual understanding and the interests of all EAEU member states.
