Yerevan Resident Caught Fishing 21 Carp Without Permission in Arpa River Area
On August 18, 2023, officers from the Environmental and Natural Resource Inspection Body and the police conducted a joint inspection in the Arpa River area of the Areni community in Vayots Dzor Province, Armenia. During the inspection, they discovered that a resident of Yerevan, identified as S. S., had illegally caught 21 carp fish, totaling 7.1 kg, using a fishing net without the necessary permit.
An administrative case has been initiated, and measures will be taken to hold him accountable.
