The Death of Soldiers Is Not the Result of Azerbaijani Sabotage, Ombudsman

The Human Rights Defender of Armenia, Arman Tatoyan, stated on his Facebook page: "Following the announcement regarding the discovery of the bodies of three soldiers who died from gunshot wounds, I immediately spoke with the Minister of Defense, Arshak Karapetyan. The Minister presented the situation related to the incident.

According to the Minister, the information circulated on social networks claiming that the deaths of our three soldiers resulted from Azerbaijani sabotage infiltration is absolutely false. Given that this concerns the rights of our country’s soldiers, including the right to life of the deceased soldiers, as decided by Arman Tatoyan, a preliminary inquiry has been initiated on his own initiative. In connection with the incident, letters will be sent to the relevant state bodies to obtain clarifications."
