The Death of 3 Soldiers Not Related to the Enemy: Ministry of Defense Clarifies

The Ministry of Defense of Armenia has provided new details to Armenpress regarding the discovery of the bodies of three Armenian servicemen at a combat post on August 19. According to the source, in response to rumors circulating in the press about a possible diversion, the Ministry stated that comprehensive actions are currently underway to fully clarify the circumstances of the incident.

“At least according to the preliminary information available at this moment, what occurred is not related to the enemy. As new information becomes available, the Ministry of Defense will issue appropriate statements,” reads the response from the Ministry of Defense.

Recall that on August 19, around 02:15, the bodies of privates Murad Ashoti Muradyan, born in 2002, Levon Rafael Harutyunyan, born in 2002, and Gohar Artaki Sahakyan, born in 2002, were found in the combat post located in the territory of military unit N in the southeastern direction of the Republic, showing gunshot wounds. The circumstances of the incident are being clarified.
