Prime Minister Participates in the Narrow Format Session of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, during his working visit to Kyrgyzstan, today participated in the narrow format session of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council. This was reported by the press office of the Government of Armenia.
At the state complex “Cholpon-Ata,” the Prime Minister of Armenia and other Prime Ministers of EAEU member countries were welcomed by the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers (Prime Minister) of Kyrgyzstan, Ulukbek Maripov. After the handshake ceremony and group photo session with the heads of government of the EAEU countries, the narrow format session commenced.
The session discussed a number of issues related to the activities of the Union. Among the topics addressed were measures for mutual and external trade insurance support among EAEU member countries, as well as the actions needed for developing common approaches to the implementation of the global climate agenda, among others.
The work of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council will continue tomorrow, on August 20, during an expanded format meeting, where a speech by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan is expected.
