Operation of Public Catering Facility at Lake Parz Suspended

Inspectors from the Food Safety Inspection Body of Armenia's Tavush Regional Center conducted supervisory measures at the public catering facility owned by "OPELA" LLC, located in the National Park area of Lake Parz.

During the inspection, it was found that sanitary norms established by legal acts were violated. Specifically, the areas designated for food preparation, sale, service, and storage were not kept clean and maintained; the flooring was partially collapsed concrete, which cannot be washed or disinfected, and the wallpapers used instead of walls did not protect against the entry of dust, bacteria, insects, or rodents into the food preparation area.

As a result of the findings, the food inspection body has suspended the operations of "OPELA" until the identified violations are rectified.
