Identities of 3 Female Drivers and 10 Injured in Wedding Accident Revealed
During the preparation of materials by Senior Investigator Haik Mekoian of the 1st platoon of the 2nd division of the Traffic Police, the identities of the drivers and the injured in a major car accident that occurred yesterday, August 17, in the Ararat region have been revealed, according to shamshyan.com.
One of the "Nissan Tiida" vehicles was driven by 34-year-old Gohar Mikoelyan, a resident of Yerevan. Another "Nissan Tiida" was driven by 26-year-old Mira Martirosyan, also from Yerevan, while the "Suzuki" was driven by 35-year-old Armine Asryan, who also resides in Yerevan.
As a result of the accident, G. Mikoelyan, A. Asryan, M. Martirosyan, and their passengers were taken to the Artashat Medical Center. The passengers included 25-year-old Armine Sahakyan, 22-year-old Hegine Hakhnazaryan, and 27-year-old Hasmik Harutyunyan from the Ararat region, as well as 23-year-old Marine Barselyan, 28-year-old Nara Sargsyan, 25-year-old Anna Dokhoyan, and 31-year-old Lilit Nazaretian from Yerevan.
Previously, it was reported that a major car accident occurred on August 17 in the Ararat region. Around 7:00 PM, under still unknown circumstances, "Suzuki" and "Nissan Tiida" vehicles collided on the 29 km stretch of the Yerevan-Yeraskh highway.
As a result of the accident, 10 individuals were transported with bodily injuries to the Artashat Medical Center. The emergency situation ministry's rescue service arrived promptly at the scene with the Artashat Fire and Rescue Squad No. 23, consisting of one combat unit. The rescuers de-energized the vehicles, closed the gas cylinders, and secured the area.
