False Reports Circulating Regarding the Deaths of 3 Soldiers in Syunik: Ministry of Defense
On August 19, false information regarding the incident in the Syunik region is being circulated in the press. The Armenian Ministry of Defense reports this.
They strongly urge the public to rely solely on official information and not to disseminate false information regarding the causes of the incident, particularly the injuries sustained by the fallen servicemen. The spread of such information is beneficial only to the adversary.
An investigation is underway, which will fully clarify all the circumstances surrounding the incident, and appropriate information will be provided to the public in due course.
It is worth recalling that on August 19, around 2:15 AM, the bodies of conscripts Murad Ashot Muradyan, born in 2002, Levon Rafael Harutyunyan, born in 2002, and Gor Artak Sahakyan, born in 2002, were found in the combat position of a military unit located in the southeastern direction of the Republic, with gunshot wounds. The circumstances of the incident are being investigated.
