VAZ 2104 Overturned, 5 Injured

An emergency incident occurred today in the Armavir region. At around 17:30, an unknown make and license plate vehicle collided with a VAZ 2104 on the Yerevan-Armvair highway at the 39 km mark, as reported by shamshyan.com.

As a result of the collision, the VAZ 2104 overturned, and the vehicle that struck it fled the scene. Following the accident, 5 individuals, who were first aided by nearby citizens, received initial medical assistance at the scene from doctors who had promptly arrived from the Metsamor Medical Center. They were then transported to the Metsamor Medical Center, where 1 individual was subsequently taken by ambulance to Astghik Medical Center in Yerevan.

A rapid response team from the Metsamor Police Department, led by chief Samvel Khmelian, also arrived at the scene. He has already obtained operational information regarding the make and license plate of the vehicle that hit the VAZ 2104, and now the criminal investigation and community police departments are taking necessary actions to locate the mentioned vehicle.

The police are also in the process of identifying the driver of the VAZ 2104 and the injured parties.
