Short Rain and Thunderstorms Expected, Hail Possible: Weather in Armenia

On the evening of August 18, as well as after noon and at night on the 20th and 21st, brief rain and thunderstorms are expected in some regions, with a possibility of hail.

The wind will be south-west at 5-10 m/s, with gusts of 15-20 m/s expected during thunderstorms.

According to Hayposthydromet, the air temperature will rise by 2-4 degrees from August 18-19.

In Yerevan, dry weather is forecasted for August 18 during the day, and on the 19th as well. Brief rain and thunderstorms may occur in some parts of the city during the night and evening hours from August 20-23, with gusts of wind reaching 18-20 m/s during thunderstorms.
