Mayor Marutyan Decides Not to Hold This Year’s ‘Erebuni-Yerevan’ Celebration: Where Will the Funds Be Directed?

According to the decision of Yerevan Mayor Hayk Marutyan, the ‘Erebuni-Yerevan’ celebrations scheduled for October will not take place. This information was provided by Marutyan's spokesperson Hakob Karapetyan.

“The financial resources allocated for ‘Erebuni-Yerevan’ in the Yerevan city budget for 2021 will be redirected to support the '100 Houses in Artsakh' program, as well as to development programs for cultural institutions in Yerevan. Specifically, funds will be allocated for the modernization projects of the ‘Erebuni’ archaeological reserve-museum and the Yerevan History Museum, which is celebrating its 90th anniversary,” he wrote on his Facebook page.
