Health Ministers of Armenia and Russia Discuss Vaccine Supply Issues

The health ministers of Armenia and Russia, Anahit Avanesyan and Mikhail Murashko, have discussed the cooperation issues surrounding the supply of Russian vaccines against coronavirus to Armenia.

The Russian Ministry of Health reports that during the phone conversation, the vaccination process for citizens against the coronavirus, the collaboration on the supply of Russian vaccines to the Republic of Armenia, and organizational matters concerning the upcoming Armenian-Russian Health VI International Conference planned for 2021 in the Russian Federation were discussed.

Both sides emphasized the high level of cooperation between Russia and Armenia on all current health issues.

It is recalled that Avanesyan mentioned during a conversation with reporters after a government meeting on July 29 that Chinese-manufactured Sinopharm and American-German Pfizer vaccines would be available in Armenia soon.
