Enemy Steals 80 Livestock Bought on Credit from Displaced Persons in Sers
This morning, around 10 a.m., Azerbaijanis stole livestock from the residents of the village of Sers in Vayots Dzor, specifically Andraniq Avagyan and Mher Hovsepyan. Andraniq Avagyan told 24news that he and his fellow villager had taken their livestock to a pasture located about 400 meters from the positions. The animals strayed from the path, and taking advantage of the opportunity, the Azerbaijanis took 80 out of 110 livestock into their territory.
“We have been displaced from Artsakh. We came to live in the village of Sers. In the spring, we took out a loan and bought livestock. I took a loan of 3 million, my fellow villager took 5 million,” said Andraniq Avagyan.
He also noted that he had reported the incident to the community leader, the governor, and the commander of the military corps, but it remains unclear what actions are being taken to return the livestock.
