The Village Remains Unprotected: Defense Army Soldiers Withdraw from Yeghtsahogh Village in Shushi Region

A few days ago, soldiers from the Defense Army were withdrawn from the borders of Yeghtsahogh village in the Shushi region. This information was confirmed to NEWS.am by Yeghtsahogh village mayor Artak Hakobyan.

"The village has remained unprotected. There are rumors that our soldiers were pulled back to allow the Azerbaijanis to withdraw three kilometers. However, at the moment, nothing is happening except for the fact that our guys have left the borders; they are still in their place," he said.

Artak Hakobyan mentioned that Russian peacekeepers had come to temporarily secure the village's borders but later left and have not returned.
