National Assembly Approves Bill on Lake Sevan’s Water in Second Reading

The Parliament has approved the government's bill on "Annual and Comprehensive Programs for the Restoration, Conservation, Reproduction, and Use of the Ecosystem of Lake Sevan" in the second reading and in its entirety. A total of 65 lawmakers voted in favor of the bill, while 18 voted against it.

It is noteworthy that the bill proposes to set the maximum annual discharge of water from Lake Sevan at 245 million cubic meters for the year 2021.
