Fire in the Roof of a Refrigeration Facility in Dvin

On August 17, at 15:12, the Ararat regional crisis management center received a report about a fire that had broken out in one of the buildings adjacent to the school in the village of Dvin.

Two firefighting units from the regional rescue department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations were dispatched to the scene. It was determined that the fire had started in the roof of an inactive refrigeration facility located on Mashtots Street.

The fire was contained by 15:40 and extinguished by 16:01. Approximately 50 square meters of the refrigeration facility's roof and about 10 square meters of an adjacent bakery roof were burnt.
