Body of a man discovered under the Victory Bridge; circumstances are being clarified

On August 17, 2021, at 09:06, a report was received regarding the discovery of a man's body under the "Victory" bridge in Yerevan. An inspection of the scene revealed a mobile phone and an identification card belonging to the deceased, who has been identified as a 1984-born resident of Yerevan.

The second investigative department of the Investigation Committee of Armenia for the Central and Norq-Marash administrative districts is preparing materials regarding this case, within the framework of which a forensic examination of the body has been appointed. Efforts are being made to clarify all the circumstances of the incident.

A directive has been issued to the relevant division of the Police of Armenia.
