V. Tatoyan Dies While Being Transferred to Ararat Medical Center: Investigation Committee Provides Details

On August 16, 2021, around 09:50 AM, contracted serviceman Vahan Diliki Tatoyan sustained a gunshot wound to the abdomen due to fire opened from the adversary's combat position towards the combat position of the Armenian Ministry of Defense's N military unit. This was reported by the Investigative Committee of Armenia.

V. Tatoyan died while being transferred to the Ararat Medical Center.

In connection with the incident, the main military investigation department of the Investigative Committee of Armenia has initiated a criminal case under Article 104, Parts 2, Clauses 2 and 13 of the RA Criminal Code, and a preliminary investigation is underway.
