Illegal Tree Felling Results in Over 900,000 AMD in Damages

On August 13, 2023, employees of the Environmental and Mining Inspection Body conducted operational activities in the territory of the Gugark Forest Economy Branch of the Hayantar SNCO and discovered 39 illegally felled trees of the species apricot, ash, and poplar. This information was reported by the Environmental and Mining Inspection Body of the Republic of Armenia.

The damage inflicted on the environment has exceeded 900,000 AMD. The materials of the case have been sent to the law enforcement authorities.
