Endlessly Repeated Lies Do Not Become Truth: Artak Beglaryan Responds to Ilham Aliyev

The State Minister of the Republic of Artsakh, Artak Beglaryan, has responded to the recent statements made by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev. As reported by Armenpress, in response to Aliyev's interview with Turkish "CNN Turk," Beglaryan stated on his Twitter microblog: "Endlessly repeated lies do not become truth. Currently, 120,000 residents live in Artsakh, not 25,000. Artsakh will never be a part of Azerbaijan, forget about it. We expect a clear response from the international community regarding Aliyev's confession that Azerbaijan unleashed the war."

On August 14, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev made yet another untruthful statement during his interview with "CNN Turk," claiming that according to their calculations, only 25,000 citizens live in Nagorno-Karabakh. According to a statement released by the Russian Ministry of Defense on August 16, Russian peacekeeping forces have facilitated the movement of more than 58,000 vehicles and approximately 210,000 people since November 2020.

Aliyev also stated that Armenians living in Nagorno-Karabakh should integrate into Azerbaijani society, which, according to the Azerbaijani president, would create more opportunities for them, without mentioning why Armenians have not lived in Azerbaijani-controlled regions such as Hadrut, Shushi, and other areas until now.
