Video Report: Major Fire at Leather Factory

A fire that broke out today, August 13, at the former leather factory on Kaseghortsner Street in Yerevan has been contained. The Ministry of Emergency Situations reported that the fire was contained at 17:05.

Five firefighting teams from the Yerevan city rescue department, operational groups from the National Center for Crisis Management, and the Department for Organization of Firefighting and Rescue Operations were dispatched to the scene, along with a duty doctor from the Medical Services Department and an operational group from the Radiation, Chemical, and Biological Monitoring Division of the Population Protection and Disaster Risk Reduction Department.

It was previously reported that a major fire had erupted at the leather factory, with firefighters battling the blaze for over three hours. For more details, watch the video.
