VIDEO. Enhanced Police Operations in Sisian

On the evening of August 12, officers from the Syunik regional police department, as well as from the Sisian and Goris divisions, conducted enhanced police operations in the area served by the Sisian division. This information has been provided by the police.

During the operation, 11 vehicles were transferred to a special holding area. One of these vehicles contained a Saiga-type firearm loaded with 42 live 7.62 mm rounds. Additionally, various weapons including a rifle, clubs, and three drivers under the influence of alcohol, as well as three drivers without a driver's license, were identified. In total, 41 administrative violation reports were filed.

Similar enhanced police operations are carried out on a regular basis.
